Dear Mickey,
From the time we met you, we knew you are a remarkable person. As Lorraine experienced the ending of her life's journey, you and Valentina cared for her as if she was your own mother. There is simply nothing more special than that. You are such a motivational, inspirational person; you make everyone feel significant and shine your countenance upon those in your care.

Moreover, you went "above and beyond the call of duty" taking mother to varied appointments, dealing with hospital personnel and hospice staff. You were always conscientious, respectful, and most importantly, understanding.

We have really changed our thinking about what constitutes a good quality of life. Through each stage you and Valentina offered a safe, loving home environment. In final days, perhaps life quality meant simply savoring a bite of ice cream, or going outside and feeling a slight breeze upon her face. Certainly, your warmth and humor, trips to the "cinema" or gazebo made a big difference in mother's life throughout her year and a half stay with you.

"A woman of valor who can find, her price is far above rubies." Valentina is an amazing woman. Caring and compassionate, she lights up the room with her positive nature and has capabilities to deal with a multitude of challenges. She is just a fantastic person and we feel blessed to know her.

Finally, your charming wife and lovely family make those in your care feel special, and part of a family, although a new one. After leaving one's longtime home, that is so important.

Dear Mickey,
I want to express my thanks and gratitude for taking care of my husband Morris during his life at Chateau Claire. He really enjoyed living there.
